Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding Part IV

This week we’re exploring the differences between wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Wisdom results from the knowledge and understanding we gain over the years.

When we’ve made enough mistakes, the knowledge gained enables us to have wisdom. Wisdomis applied strategically, while knowledgeis more tactical.

My first business began when business loans were at 21% interest. The painful lessons I learned from that loan, and from bank customers of mine who were overextended, has provided me wisdom to counsel others today on the perils of debt.

Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Applying the lessons we’ve learned over time provides a pathway for us to gain wisdom, but once again it requires humility.
