Kyle Doperalski is a radio and television sportscaster at New Mexico State University and Executive Producer at News New Mexico. At NMSU, he calls Aggie football, men’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, women’s basketball and softball, on radio and television. While at NMSU, Doperalski has managed the Aggie Sports Network (radio) and created/developed/implemented the television network “Aggie Vision” seen in over 8,000,000 homes on cable and nationally on satellite. He was named top national volleyball broadcaster in 2008 by the AVCA for his radio and television play by play. In addition to play by play, Doperalski is the coaches show radio and television host.
Doperalski arrived at NMSU in August 2006 from Lincoln, Nebraska where he worked for Lincoln’s ESPN radio affiliate and called play by play for 21 sports and Husker softball for the Pinnacle Sports Network. Working in all aspects of radio and television broadcasting, he got a taste of everything from play by play to production to engineering. A 2005 graduate of the University of Nebraska, Doperalski was all-Big 12 in track & field while the Huskers claimed four Big 12 track & field championships during his collegiate years. In the classroom he was an Academic All-Big 12 honoree on multiple occasions and was a regular on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. As an undergrad, Doperalski was awarded two national top five Citations for Excellence in Publications from CoSIDA for his work in the Nebraska Sports Information Office.
